Cómo afectan las llamaradas solares a la radioafición
Las llamaradas solares (solar flares) pueden interrumpir temporalmente las comunicaciones en bandas HF (3–30 MHz) al alterar la ionosfera de la Tierra. Esto provoca apagones de radio (HF blackouts), cambios en la propagación y aumento del ruido. Aunque pueden dificultar los contactos, también generan fenómenos interesantes como la propagación auroral en VHF.
